SUMMARY:

One of the biggest challenges related to innovation in the public sector is the combination between the problem to be solved and the best instruments to be used to create a solution (RAUEN, 2022). This research has the general objective of proposing a decision support framework oriented to the choice of public innovation contracting instruments. To this end, a theoretical-empirical study of an exploratory and descriptive nature will be carried out, using Design Science Research (DSR). In addition, it is a mixed approach, whose means of collection will be through the triangulation of different sources: documentary research, bibliographical research, focus group and questionnaire. For data analysis, document analysis, content analysis and descriptive statistics will be adopted.
